What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Halloran Sage?
Halloran Sage is offering an opportunity for a skilled Paralegal, with Insurance Defense Litigation experience, to become an essential member of a high functioning, responsive team that takes pride in working together to provide clients with their best path forward.
Your contributions will include
- Providing administrative support to attorneys
- Preparing and filing documents with state or federal courts
- E-Filing: State Court and District Court
- Preparing and finalizing pleadings, correspondence and other documents
- Docket and calendar management
- Schedule travel arrangements and meetings
- Proofread and edit documents
- Set-up, organize and maintain files
- Other duties as assigned by the attorneys
Experience with Litify recommended.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience handling litigation in a law firm setting. Our firm is one of the largest multi-practice law firms in Connecticut serving a diverse cross section of clients in the private and public sectors with offices in Hartford, Middletown, New Haven, Danbury, and Old Saybrook Connecticut, Washington, DC and Springfield, MA.
