PRN Behavioral Health Technician – Join Our Team!
Are you 21 or older and passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? We are now hiring PRN Behavioral Health Technicians to help create a safe, supportive, and structured environment where young people can grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient behavior and ensure safety within the facility
- Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and mobility
- Support implementation of individualized treatment and care plans
- Conduct safety checks and maintain accurate documentation of patient activities and observations
- De-escalate crisis situations using appropriate intervention techniques
- Facilitate or assist with group activities and therapeutic programs
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

PRN Requirement:
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred
Experience
- Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience working with adolescents, adults, or dual-diagnosis populations is a plus
- Familiarity with crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques preferred
Licensure & Certifications
- CPR/BLS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or similar certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license (if transportation of clients is required)
To remain eligible for PRN status, employees must work a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
