Position Summary:

The Salad Bar Attendant is responsible for the daily setup, stocking, presentation, and cleanliness of the salad bar. This position ensures that all items are fresh, attractively displayed, and replenished in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, portion, and stock fresh vegetables, fruits, toppings, dressings, and other salad bar items according to established recipes and standards.

Ensure the salad bar is fully stocked, visually appealing, and well-organized throughout service hours.

Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation; promptly remove and replace items as needed.

Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper labeling, temperature control, and cleaning procedures.

Clean and sanitize the salad bar area, utensils, containers, and surrounding service areas regularly.

Assist with inventory management by tracking usage, reporting shortages, and reducing waste.

Provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions and assisting guests as needed.

Support kitchen and dining staff with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Job Related Duties & Responsibilities

Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products Maintains a clean and organized workspace storing, labeling and rotating product according to our standards
Follows HMS operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling (where applicable) and guest count reporting
Welcomes every customer personally making eye contact answering any questions they might have regarding the products you are serving

Ability to work as part of a team
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 40 lbs.
Requires constant standing and walking

Salary : $11 - $13
