We are currently seeking an Insurance & Scheduling Coordinator who is detail-oriented, upbeat, and loves helping patients navigate their orthodontic journey.
Position Overview
The Insurance & Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily flow of the office. This position is responsible for managing patient schedules, verifying insurance, submitting insurance claims, and providing excellent front-desk support while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Duties
- Verify insurance benefits, submitting initial claims, following up on outstanding claims and payments.
- Handle multi-line phone systems, directing calls professionally and providing outstanding customer support.
- Maintain accurate data entry records, including patient information, billing details, and appointments.
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out procedures, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Assist with office management tasks including organizing files, updating records, and maintaining office supplies.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, positive attitude and team-player mentality and be comfortable with insurance details.
