The role involves prospecting and qualifying commercial customers, building relationships with fleet managers and owner-operators, and matching customer needs with appropriate new and used truck solutions. Daily activities include conducting in-person and phone consultations, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating test drives, and guiding customers through purchasing, financing, and delivery processes. The position works closely with the parts and service departments to support ongoing customer needs, maintain accurate account records, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. The role also includes maintaining product knowledge across multiple truck brands and configurations, and participating in sales meetings, training, and local business networking.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with customers and internal teams.
- Proven Customer Service abilities focused on responsiveness, follow-through, and building long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, closing, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with Purchasing processes, such as quoting, order entry, and coordinating delivery or logistics.
- Account Management skills for maintaining customer records, tracking contacts, and supporting repeat and fleet business.
- Knowledge of medium and heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles, or willingness to quickly develop technical product expertise.
- Comfort working in an on-site dealership environment with regular face-to-face customer interactions.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documentation tools).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or automotive technology is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to operate and demonstrate commercial trucks as needed.
