Hall Industries, Inc. is currently looking for a full-time qualified 1st and 2nd Shift CNC/Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist for its Ellwood City, PA. location.

Job description

· CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist

· 4" CNC Horizontal Boring Mill with a Fanuc Control

· Ellwood City, PA

· Salary Range: $ $35.00/HR

· Permanent full-time position with overtime opportunities

· 1st and 2nd shift positions available (2nd shift differential of 6% hourly rate)

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate (Trade school or experience)
• Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the following:
• Set-up and Operate CNC horizontal boring mill machine
• Experience setting up both new and repetitive work. Being familiar with proper work holding methods. Using indicators to make sure the work piece is properly aligned.
• Knowledgeable in making tool offsets, program adjustments, & operate computer-controlled machines
• Set-up and adjust machine controls to include speeds, feeds and depth of cut, and proper axis to meet configuration requirements
• Perform mathematical calculations and layout center lines, reference points, machining guidelines and angular dimensions on materials, parts, assemblies and tooling for machining processes.
• Work from part drawings and use required precision measuring instruments to check machine positioning and inspect work
• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings
• Knowledge and familiarity or Gibbs Cam for programming is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm (varies if working overtime)
• Afternoon shift 3:30pm-12:00am (varies if working overtime)
• 2nd shift differential of 12% hourly rate
• Occasional optional Saturdays 5:00am-1:00pm
