Controls Engineer (Contract)
Location: Greater Bay Area, CA
Duration: Short-Term Contract with Extension Potential
Schedule: Onsite
We are supporting an exciting automation and manufacturing project and are seeking experienced Controls Engineers with a strong background in industrial automation, commissioning, and startup activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automated equipment
- Work with PLC-based control systems in a manufacturing environment
- Support motion control and material handling applications
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize system performance
- Assist with system integration, testing, and deployment activities
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with industrial automation and controls systems
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Commissioning and startup experience
- Exposure to motion control systems
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing or material handling environments
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the project
Additional Details:
This project is initially expected to run for approximately two months, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance. Additional hours may be available.
