What You Will Do
- Responsible for planning and preparing engineered contract documentation for assigned projects, working with or as a mechanical Project Manager to meet deadlines, aiding in or providing engineering decisions, and collaborating with other engineers, architects, and/or owners.
- Responsible for creating mechanical and plumbing project construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Responsible for on-site visits, as necessary, to collect existing condition information, attend meetings, respond to construction inquiries, and report on-site observations. Construction activities when necessary, may include shop drawing reviews, responding to RFI’s, and site visits to generate observation reports.
- Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering design using Trane Trace 700, or similar energy modeling tools.
- Large central plant experience is a plus
- High-level interpersonal relationship skills, proficiency in communication skills, and organization skills.
- Design-build experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects.

- We understand the demands of managing multiple projects under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinity Quantity contracts.
