About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for young children
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
- Assist lead teachers with classroom management and daily routines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning space in compliance with childcare regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Experience in early childhood education, daycare, or preschool settings preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
- Ability to obtain or currently holds required NJ childcare certifications or clearances
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young children
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
