The Position
We are looking for a friendly and compassionate Human Resources Coordinator who will support our Hale Makua Health Services Human Resources Team with clerical and administrative support such as:
- Work under the direct supervision of the People Operations Manager and indirect supervision of the Vice President of People Operations.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries
- Assist with the Employee Life-cycle
- Support new hire onboarding in an accurate and high-speed manner
- Coordinates and reminds the annual renewal of the requirement for employees
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years of applicable human resources and a minimum one year of professional experience in any combination of administrative support, finance and accounting support, or human resources. Prior work experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Working experience with MS Office applications and Google; experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and related software to effectively complete a variety of administrative tasks with reasonable speed and accuracy.
- Extensive knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements to include HIPAA, COBRA, and Department of Labor requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills and xcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
