Summary
As a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), you will be integral in delivering high-quality mental health services and addiction counseling. Reporting to the clinical supervisor, your role involves managing patient care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your core skills in practice management and EMR systems will support efficient operations, while your premium skills in fiscal management and supervising experience will enhance team effectiveness. With a focus on patient well-being, you will contribute to a supportive environment that fosters recovery and mental health stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for clients, ensuring compliance with QMHP certification standards.
- Offer addiction counseling and support services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and manage patient progress.
- Supervise and train junior staff, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
- Assist individuals to gain access to necessary services
- Assist individual in reducing psychiatric and addiction symptoms
- Assist individual in developing optimal community living skills
- Document in PCP
- Assistance and support for individuals in crisis situations
- Service coordination
- Psycho-education and support for individual and families
- Individual restorative interventions for the development of interpersonal, community coping and independent living skills
- Development of system monitoring and management skills
- Monitoring of medication
- Self medication
Qualified Professional with Managerial Experience:
- Must be a licensed QP with the state of NC
- Experience working with Substance Abuse clients
- Experience with signing case loads
- Experience with PCPs
- Safety and Coping skills development
- Completing timely assessments
- Addiction Counseling
- Must have experience in ShareNote systems
Must have experience working with Mental Health clients!!!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
