What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funeral Associate position at Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service?
We are a local family owned and operated funeral home that has been serving our community for over 50 years. We are looking for caring and compassionate people to join our team as funeral associates.
Responsibilities
- helping set up for funerals
- assisting mourners with inquires at funeral services
- directing cars to set up for funeral processionals
- driving the hearse in a funeral processional
- cleaning up the funeral home after services
- other duties as assigned
We use as needed scheduling, funeral associates have a flexible schedule and are only called in to work when funeral services are scheduled.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Have a valid drivers license
- Must pass a drug test and background check
