Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including Craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create an inviting atmosphere and promote repeat business.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as giving change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality or service speed.
- Assist in training new team members on food handling procedures, POS operation, and customer service standards.
- Stay informed about menu updates, brewing techniques, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using POS systems like Toast.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest interactions.
- Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with banquet or catering environments is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, brewing processes, and beverage preparation techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role.
