Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen understanding of color theory, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients' natural beauty. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every client. The ability to work in different departments in our Day Spa is a huge factor is advancing very quickly. Ex. 1Manicures, Pedicures. Waxing, Facials, etc.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences.
- Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon environment.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized consultations.
- Mentor junior stylists and share expertise in hair care practices and retail math to drive product sales.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and techniques through continuous education.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices.
- Familiarity with barbering techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience with retail math is beneficial for managing product sales effectively.
- A valid cosmetology license is required.
