Hagler Systems is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate shipping documentation, and ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with customer requirements.

Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator manages daily shipping and receiving operations while serving as the liaison between production, purchasing, carriers, and customers. This role is critical to ensuring efficient movement of materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Schedule freight pickups and deliveries with carriers.
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery updates.
- Work closely with production to prioritize shipments and meet customer deadlines.
- Coordinate inbound material deliveries with vendors.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
- Obtain freight quotes and select cost-effective transportation options.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and freight claims.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2 years of logistics, shipping, transportation, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
- Ability to operate an overhead crane and seated forklift.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of freight carriers, LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping.
- Prior crane and forklift experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory control.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations.
- Ability to analyze shipping costs and identify efficiencies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
