Brief Description
Duties
Prepares daily meals and other items and serves them to customers at the Hilltop Grill, Hawk Cafe, Courtside Cafe, and through our catering department. Works the grill, fryers, and deli areas. Cleans kitchen and serving areas, in compliance with Health Department Standards. Wash dishes, pots, pans, sweep and mop after each meal. Run cash register when needed. Provide great customer services to our staff, faculty, and students.
Open availability Monday through Friday is preferred but not required. May be required to work some Saturdays and/or Sundays for Special events. Advance notice will be given.
Special Skills Needed
Person must be dependable and able to work effectively with little supervision. This position require lifting of 25 lbs for stocking. Requires standing during the preparation and serving of all foods. Food service experience is helpful but will train if needed. Barista and Register experience preferred.
Requirements
MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SUMMER/FALL 2026 SEMESTER.
MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.
UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.
