The role combines rigorous financial analysis with strategic insight into infrastructure development and clean energy finance.

- Build and maintain detailed project finance models to evaluate reactor deployment economics, revenue streams, and return metrics (IRR, NPV, payback, etc.)
- Support the structuring and execution of financing transactions, including PPAs, lease structures, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships
- Analyze capital expenditure (CAPEX), operating expenditure (OPEX), and long-term cost curves across Hadron’s microreactor fleet
- Assist in developing pro forma financial statements and sensitivity analyses for investor presentations and board reviews
- Evaluate and benchmark financing options such as debt, equity, and hybrid instruments
- Conduct market, customer, and policy research to inform project assumptions and financial feasibility
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to translate technical data into financial models
- Prepare materials to support investor due diligence, financial closings, and funding applications (DOE, DOD, or state incentive programs)
- Track and report key project finance metrics and progress against budgets and timelines
- Support scenario modeling for multi-unit rollouts and “gigafactory” manufacturing ramp-up

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 3–7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure investment, renewable energy, or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Familiarity with energy project structures such as PPAs, SPVs, or Build-Own-Operate (BOO) models
- Experience with valuation techniques, DCF analysis, and capital budgeting
- Understanding of debt/equity financing, tax incentives, and credit analysis
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex technical and financial data
