Electrical Estimator

Hadley Energy Solutions is a growing family owned and operated commercial and industrial electrical contractor located in Louisville, KY. We have been in business over a decade. We are in search of an experienced estimator to help provide our customers with accurate quotes in a timely manner. We are looking for someone that is ambitious and wants to join a team that is looking to grow in the market.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years estimating experience with a commercial electrical contractor. You must have experience with either Accubid, or EBM. Must be meticulous and thorough during the takeoff process. The estimator is required to be able to fully estimate a project from pre bid walk through to bid submittal to the customer. The estimator is required to hand off comprehensive information to management to ensure management best opportunity to install a successful project.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide a complete bid, by accurately collecting all information from Pre-Bid walkthrough to submitting to customer.
• Request clarification and additional information during bid process.
• Update costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes.
• Collect and analyze all project costs, including material, labor, equipment, and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate.
• Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Have a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

• 3 year's experience as a construction Estimator, primarily in the electrical field.
• Electrical Experience in Construction Management, Architecture, engineering, or equivalent trade experience.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, contractors, and other business partners.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and with project manager software.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively with a proven track record of success in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
