Overview:
The Sourcing Manager will oversee the sourcing and production of a department or brand and work closely with overseas offices to ensure the development of new resources and resolve quality and delivery issues.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work closely with the Product Approval team and overseas offices to achieve quality and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with capacity planning team to strategically place orders
- Identify, resolve and follow up on all quality and testing issues
- Align with capacity and PA teams on priority styles by season
- Assist with negotiations on FOB prices with overseas vendors in order to meet financial goals with Sourcing Director and Senior Sourcing Manager
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to maximize the capacities in overseas factories
- Partner with Design and overseas partners to effectively cost new products within our approved vendor base
- Align with Demand Planning teams to review and finalize all order placement for global and domestic orders
- Create and share pricing projections with international customers
- Recruit top talent, train and develop team members
- Provide direction and management to your team to meet deadlines
- Support the sourcing director to resolve any issues in production timing and deliveries to meet customer demand
- Travel to overseas vendors/factories to build and establish collaborative relationships
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field
- 3 years of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management within the fashion industry
- Proven ability to work with international business partner to drive results
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of AS40
- Clubs experience a plus but not required

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
