Inside Sales Metals/Plastics- La Mirada, CA

Hadco Metal Trading Company is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Specialist with a solid understanding of the engineering grade plastics or metals industry to join our sales team in La Mirada, CA. Hadco is a growth-focused metal distributin company. Our customers include OEMs, fabricators, machine shops, and contractors who rely on us for consistent supply, competitive pricing, and responsible service.

Inside Sales Responsibilities

• Knowledge & understanding of engineering grade plastic materials or metals industry
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotes for assigned accounts
• Previous experience in direct customer interaction in a sales capacity
• Highly developed organizational & communication skills
• Confidence to make important & thoughtful decisions
• Process orders accurately and efficiently through the ERP system
• Communicate daily with customers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams
• Participate in outbound call campaigns and account development efforts
• Track customer activity, opportunities, and follow-ups in CRM
• Learn metal products, grades, applications, and market pricing trends
• Contribute ideas to improve pod performance, efficiency, and customer experience
• Gradual ownership of accounts and responsibilities as performance increases

Minimum Requirements/Required Skills

• Must be able to work full-time, on-site in La Mirada, CA (M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• 1 years of sales, customer service, or industry experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and via email
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Ability to learn technical product information
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a sales career
