Wage: $17.50-$27.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full time, overtime available
Benefits available after 60 days!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minor maintenance and care of equipment.
- Able to load and dump dirt properly.
- Properly checks, lubricates and fuels any equipment that is asked to use.
- Communicates with other operators and grade checkers in cuts and fills.
- Understands machines limitations in different field conditions.
- Operate hand tools as necessary to complete the project.
- Set up and put away job equipment.
- Proper care and use of hand tools.
- Assist in the cleaning of tools, equipment and work areas.
- Report any unsafe condition, accident or injury to crew leader.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by crew leader.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver license and clean MVR.
- Must be able to show proof of age over 18, identity and right to work in the US.
- Must be able to pass drug screen.
- 3 years or more experience operating scraper is required.
- Must be familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of scrapers.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Able to take orders and follow directions.
- Willing to learn to operate other types of heavy equipment.
- Must be able to lift, carry and transfer 100 pounds frequently and perform considerable stooping, kneeling and digging.
- Must be able to work on scaffolding.
