Hadco Construction is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and semis used in dirt and construction environments. This role ensures our equipment stays reliable and safe under demanding job site conditions.

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks and semis
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot issues related to equipment working in dirt and off-road conditions
- Complete work orders and service records with accuracy and detail
- Operate vehicles to test systems after repairs
- Respond to field service calls when trucks require on-site repair
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks or semis
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with DOT requirements and inspections for commercial trucks
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Frequent lifting and moving of parts and tools weighing 50 lbs.
- Regular bending, kneeling, and climbing on/off trucks and equipment
- Work performed in both shop and outdoor environments, often in dirt and construction site conditions
- Exposure to grease, fumes, noise, and heavy machinery on a daily basis
