Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. This role includes processing written and phone-in prescriptions, verifying and updating patient information, preparing and dispensing medications, managing incoming drug supplies, and supporting the Pharmacist with other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with prescription questions and guidance under the direction of a Pharmacist
- Manage and update electronic medical records from providers
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Support workflow coordination with other clinic staff
- Generate reports and assist with billing and documentation tasks
- Maintain inventory and handle incoming drug supplies
- Uphold compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid, active, and good-standing Pharmacy Technician license/certification in Michigan
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or willingness to learn
