• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200 employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. 

Responsibilities

• Physical ability to perform a job that requires bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility - cleaning/restocking restrooms, cleaning examination rooms, pulling trash, vacuuming, dusting, break rooms, and common areas
• Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners
• Empty and clean trash cans daily.
• Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Perform various environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Perform all other duties assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED
• 1 years of experience in hospital cleaning

Preferred Job Requirements:

• A diploma from a vocational or technical program

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
