The Respiratory Educator is responsible for the orientation, continuing education, and staff development of the Respiratory Care staff/patients consistent with the goals of the department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Therapy Program.
- BS or BA.
- Six years' experience as a staff Respiratory Therapist.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Prior experience as an educator in the Respiratory profession.
- NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
- BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
- Regular contact with Medical Center Personnel, patients and visitors.
- Lift a minimum of 35 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 165 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
