Duties
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with pulmonary disorders in critical and non-critical areas.
- Perform cardiopulmonary evaluation, monitoring, respiratory therapy treatment techniques, procedures.
- Responsible for data acquisition analysis interpretation related to respiratory care.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will work under supervision to provide all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy as stated in department policies. Responsibilities include administering medical gases mechanical ventilation support artificial airway care pharmacologic agents related to respiratory procedures setting up ventilators operating monitoring equipment responding emergency trauma codes managing life support systems overseeing clinical performance certified therapists maintaining patient records communicating with caregivers identifying needs modifying delivering patient-centered care adhering organizational competencies performing additional tasks requested by Director or designee.
