Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces in accordance with food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their needs are met with a positive attitude
- Support banquet or special event setups when required, assisting with food handling and guest services to ensure flawless execution
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to uphold hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact professionally with guests
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in bussing, serving, or supporting culinary operations enhances your fit for this role
- Previous hotel or banquet experience is advantageous but not required; a background in hospitality or culinary settings is appreciated
