Assist customers in unloading donations, loading purchases, keeping the back room and donation dock organized by efficiently moving merchandise to and from the sales floor.
Essential Functions
- Ensure that each customer and donor receive outstanding service
- Guarantee safe and prompt loading and unloading of customers donated or purchased merchandise
- Guarantee safe and prompt loading and unloading of Restore trucks
- Maintain safe procedures while moving merchandise to and from the sales floor
- Inform customers of our donations acceptance policy; refer donors to alternate options for those items that we do not accept
- Knowledgeable about company’s products and services, and customer-related policies
- Be an effective team member when working with staff and volunteers
- Utilize forklift as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to move and lift at least 75 lbs with assistance
- Ability to work outdoors in all climates
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certification and operate a forklift on a regular basis
- Ability to climb steps to Forklift cab
- Ability to move and stand for extended periods of time

- 40 hours/week, including weekends and periodic holidays. Rotating Sunday - Saturday schedule, Sundays off, additional day off as scheduled by supervisor. Shifts scheduled to begin as early as 8:30AM and end as late as 7PM, depending on staffing needs.
