Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Office Assistant based in Hastings, MI. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, answering phones, managing office documentation, operating office equipment, and performing general clerical tasks. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact effectively with team members, volunteers, and community members
- Experience in Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including file management and scheduling
- Proficiency in operating Office Equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is preferred
- Passion for community service and alignment with Habitat for Humanity’s mission of helping people achieve safe, affordable housing
