Regional Transportation Coordinator

Habilitation Assistance Corporation’s Access Express is seeking an experienced and dependable Regional Coordinator to assist with the daily operations of our transportation services. This position works closely with the Transportation Director, drivers, staff, members, and outside agencies to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transportation.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with a schedule of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm and occasional on-call responsibilities outside of regular work schedule. The starting annual salary range is between $52,000-$58,000. Full-time benefits and a new hire bonus apply to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Assist with daily transportation operations, scheduling, and dispatching
• · Communicate with drivers and supervisors to resolve scheduling and operational issues
• · Assist with hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of transportation staff.
• · Help maintain driver attendance and time records
• · Assist with preparing bi-weekly payroll
• · Monitor schedules, overtime, and operational efficiency
• · Ensure compliance with DOT, HST, Massachusetts regulations, and HAC policies
• · Assist with driver training, including Defensive Driving
• · Maintains relationships with our technology partners and the agency to ensure everyone is working efficiently
• · Ensure drivers are correctly using technology in vehicles. And that the technology is working correctly
• · Drive assigned routes as needed

Qualifications:

• · Minimum 5 years of transportation operations and scheduling experience.
• · At least 21 years of age.
• · Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License with 3 years of driving experience.
• · Clean driving record.
• · Successful completion of CORI, SORI, fingerprinting, OIG, and TB screening requirements.
• · Must be willing to submit to drug testing.
• · Ability to pass a physical examination demonstrating fitness for the position.

• · Proficiency with computers, smartphones, GPS/Fleet systems, and Route Genie.
• · Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and regulations.
• · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, reach, and assist with transfers and loading. Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and assist individuals using wheelchairs or gait belts. Reasonable accommodation may be made as appropriate.
