Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Handler/Legal Assistant for a full-time, on-site position in our San Jose, CA office. Responsibilities include managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution, maintaining client communication, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and coordinating with attorneys, insurance companies, and medical providers. You will ensure timely case progression, assist in case investigations, and provide administrative support across the team as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in case file management, drafting legal documents, and client communication
- Proficiency in processing insurance claims and coordinating with medical providers
- Knowledge of personal injury law and legal case handling practices is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with legal software and general computer applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role is a plus
