The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety policies.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION – PRODUCTION: Follows work instructions and is responsible for good qualityGrinds tubes and belts. Measures work piece dimensions to assess conformance.Changes sandpaper when required.Initials work order upon completion of job duty and inspection of work performed as acknowledgment of properly completing task. Checks thickness gauges for accuracy.Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. Notifies Supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or quality problems. Inspects ground tubes to meet work instruction requirements.Performs a combination of production tasks, which may include loading machinery, positioning work, setting up jobs, adjusting and operating machinery.May load and unload materials, parts or products; stock to designated work areas; pack products and may clean surface of machines and work areas.Operates machinery and equipment. Inspects ground tubes to meet work instruction requirements.Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Able to access databases as necessary to retrieve work instructions in order to perform work.Maintain own productivity while performing the duties mentioned above.Prepares material to be move to next station.Checks set-ups at beginning of shift to ensure grinder is in proper operating condition.Notifies Supervisor when supplies need replenishing.Follows all safety rule and procedures.Maintain good housekeeping in department.Performs other duties as required.First Shift - 7:00AM - 3:00PMSecond Shift - 3:00PM - 11:00PM - Base Pay $1.00 Shift Differential
