Job Summary
The Payment Operations Specialist is responsible for processing and repairing domestic and international wire transfers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing. This role supports daily payment operations and assists with other departmental functions as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, repair, and process CHIPS, SWIFT, and Federal Reserve (Fed) payment transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensure payment instructions are accurate and comply with bank procedures.
- Monitor and resolve payment exceptions to minimize processing delays.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and support daily operational activities.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Department Manager.
- Night-Shift schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am
- About one month of training, during regular work hours 9am-5pm
- High school diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in banking operations, wire transfers, or payment processing preferred.
- Knowledge of CHIPS, SWIFT, and Fedwire payment systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking/payment processing systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
