Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants with personal care, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with walking, mobility, and activities of daily living within the caregiver's training and assigned care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal-related activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other authorized household tasks.
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands when authorized.
- Observe and promptly report changes in participants' conditions or safety concerns.
- Follow established care plans, agency policies, and safety procedures.
- Accurately document services and complete required electronic visit verification (EVV) records.
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect participant confidentiality.
- Arrive on time and complete assigned shifts as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to assigned schedules.
- Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to follow written instructions and established care plans.
- Willingness to complete required background checks, onboarding, and training.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish, depending on participant needs.
