Part Time Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a part time warehouse associate for receiving, stocking, inventory cycle counting, material handling, and preparing, including fabrication, of building products, such as fireplaces, closet shelving, mirrors, shower doors, bath accessories and other miscellaneous hardware, for installation in new homes and commercial buildings. Our warehouse associates are an essential part of the H2 team and key to our success with our customers. H2’s ideal candidate will have a passion for service and a strong commitment to our team. Prior warehouse experience is preferred in this role; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. We offer comprehensive training in a team environment.

Working hours: Monday - Friday : 7:00am - 12:00pm

• Maintain an organized, clean, structured warehouse.
• Arrange inventoried product to allow expeditious flow of material.
• Assure timely and accurate “picking” of product to fill orders for job completion.
• Participate in cycle count preparation and execution.
• Ensure the return of product coming back to the warehouse from a job to clearly define the issue and to determine if the issue originated with the manufacturer or with H2.
• Responsible for basic maintenance of buildings.
• Shipping and receiving of material.
• Daily order preparation for installers.
• Fabrication of shelving and mirrors
• Maintain warehouse, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, operations, and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as assigned.

Work and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to bend, turn, twist, climb, squat, reach, and stand throughout entire shift. Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 60 pounds from knee and/or ground level to waist and/or chest level. Must be able to push/pull a minimum of 60 pounds. Must be able to lift 30 pounds above head. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the employee to be in a standing position up to 90% of the day. Must have regular and predictable on-site attendance.
