Job Description

As an ITS Support Engineer at Amazon, you will provide expert technical support to corporate employees, ensuring their productivity remains uninterrupted. You will engage with various teams to understand their unique IT needs and deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of IT standards and the ability to manage projects independently or collaboratively. You will also mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the IT Services team.

Requirements

• 1 years of experience with Windows Server technologies such as AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
• 2 years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2 years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
• 1 years of experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• 2 years of networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
• 2 years of experience supporting corporate Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
• 2 years of experience maintaining a corporate network environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
• Experience with Active Directory and deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Windows Server.
• Experience in Kafka.
• Experience with audiovisual, video conferencing, or event support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site, high-quality, hands-on support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Provide on-call support for high severity incidents and serve as an escalation point of contact for the team.
• Assist in triaging and escalating system or network outages to minimize downtime.
• Execute change management activities in a high availability environment.
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on continuous improvement projects.
• Manage and oversee IT asset inventories effectively.
• Participate in hiring efforts and mentor new team members.
• Continuously expand skills and maintain knowledge of IT policies to provide accurate solutions.
