Position Summary

The Field Technician will oversee layout data collection, model integration, and field communication for Trimble robotic total stations and related systems. This role connects engineering/design teams with field survey and installation crews, ensuring seamless coordination between AutoCAD, Revit, and Trimble platforms.

Day to Day Task Snapshot

• Coordinate layout points and files between design teams and field survey crews.

• Train and support field teams in Trimble equipment usage and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with BIM coordinators, project managers, and superintendents to validate survey data.

• Maintain organized records of project layouts, revisions, and as-built data.

• Perform quality checks to confirm data matches project specifications.

• Provide ongoing technical support for Trimble equipment and related software.
