We are actively seeking applicants for immediate (Part-Time) employment opportunities, in Oak Ridge, TN. Please note: These are day-time vacancies (day shifts). Currently, this position is one day per week, 4 hours per day.
Overview: The Custodian performs several janitorial services tasks which might include clearing away garbage, dusting, and cleaning floors or carpets, while ensuring all areas are safe.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- Must be 18-years of age at time of hire.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Fundamental/Essential Duties:
- Cleans, dust mop, sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
- Cleans, empties, replenish bags, & service trash cans.
- Maintains outside entrances areas, including sweeping debris.
- Spot clean carpet.
- Maintains removable (area and throw) rugs.
- Maintain stairways, elevators and handicap lifts.
- Record services performed. Tracks and orders cleaning & paper supplies.
- Cleans windows.
- Dusts light and heavy furnishing and fixture.
- Cleans, sanitizes and restocks supplies for: Restrooms, Toilet & Urinals Areas, Locker Rooms including showers, with the ability to detail clean toilets, urinals & sinks as required.
- Cleans water fountains.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no deficiencies.
- Effective communication skills.
- Any/all (related) duties as assigned.
