Job Overview
We are seeking Industrial Carpenter Journeymen to join our dynamic construction team. The work is in Valero Corpus Christi Refinery and is 10 weeks long working 4 - 10 hour days. In this role, you will leverage your extensive carpentry expertise to execute complex industrial projects, including concrete forming, rebar installation, and renovation work. You will be working in a petrochemical industrial environment, interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities / Requirements
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Construct, install, and repair concrete forms, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment for concrete pouring.
- Install rebar reinforcement in foundations, walls, and other structures.
- Experience with finishing / concrete smoothing.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites involving heavy lifting and equipment operation.
- TWIC card required
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
