As an AR/Finance Assistant, you will support our dynamic Finance Team at our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire. Reporting to the AP/AR Manager and working within a transaction team of 4, you will assist with the day-to-day processes of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function.

Main responsibilities:
- Invoicing from the Infor LN ERP System
- Data entry to customer invoicing portals
- Generating ad-hoc sales invoices and credit notes
- Raising Proforma invoices
- Internal audit controls, including log and approvals.
- Bank detail checking and tracking for internal audit controls.
- Setting up new customers on the Info LN ERP System
- Providing cover for the AP/AR Manager
- Supporting colleagues with tasks as and when required
- Proven experience within a busy accounts department maintaining a sales ledger
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
