Duties
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships for cost-effective purchasing.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on stocking procedures, materials management, and warehouse operations to increase efficiency.
- Support production planning by analyzing inventory data to prevent stockouts or overstock situations while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control roles with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within complex supply chain environments.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL or other data collection tools; familiarity with MRP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting involving shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and production planning.
