Position Overview
The fund is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its Pittsburgh office. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for motivated investment professionals to gain broad, end-to-end deal experience across industries while working closely with senior investors, management teams, and advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all phases of the investment process including due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, industry research, and transaction structuring
- Conduct market analyses to identify attractive opportunities across various sectors
- Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to the investment committee
- Partner with portfolio company leadership on value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic growth projects
- Monitor portfolio company performance, analysing both financial and operational KPIs
- Build and maintain relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry contacts to support sourcing and deal flow
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–4 years of Investment Banking experience (M&A, leveraged finance, or coverage groups strongly preferred)
- Solid financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to contribute within lean deal teams
- Genuine interest in private equity investing and supporting company growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (top-tier university preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Pittsburgh
