What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Planning Management Specialist position at H MART - Corp?
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Develop and coordinate architectural layouts, space plans, and construction documents for new store and renovation projects using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design requirements and resolve project issues
- Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements
- Support project planning, permitting, bidding, scheduling, and construction coordination throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct site visits and field verification as needed to evaluate existing conditions and support design development
- Maintain project drawings, revisions, and documentation while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of professional experience in an architecture, design, engineering, or construction-related environment
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD / Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or other visualization tools is a plus
- Solid understanding of architectural drawings, space planning, and construction documentation
- General understanding of building codes, construction methods, and architectural coordination
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detai
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work with multiple disciplines
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of following projects through from planning to completion
- Previous experience with retail, commercial, hospitality, or large-scale interior/architectural projects is a plus
- Experience with project management, construction administration, permitting, or consultant coordination is a strong plus
- Korean and English bilingual proficiency is preferred

Salary Range: $58,900 - $86,400
