What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk (OPEX / Revenue Accounting) position at H MART - Corp?
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Review and process invoices and related cover sheets from various departments, inputting all data into the accounting system (SAP S/4HANA).
- Prepare operational expenditure payment batches.
- Review and verify departmental expense reports to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
- Process store gift certificates.
- Verify and reconcile store and other related reports.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
- Equivalent experience and bookkeeping knowledge a plus, BUT not required. H Mart provides an extensive training program; candidates with basic office experience will be considered.
- 4-5 years experience working in a professional, detail-oriented office environment.
- Comfortable navigating basic computer software (training for specific business software will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with computerized accounting or ERP systems (such as SAP R/3 or S/4HANA Cloud) is a plus BUT not required.
- Must speak, read, and write Korean; basic English comprehension required.
