Summary
The Department of Head & Neck - Endocrine Oncology is seeking applications for a fellowship-trained surgeon in either Rhinology/Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery or Head & Neck Surgery with Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery experience to join the faculty at our multidisciplinary cancer center in Tampa, Florida. The selected physician will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team involving neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology and endocrine oncology, and other specialized practitioners.
Applicants must be Board-Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Ideal candidates must support the clinical, research, and educational mission of our institution; practice collaborative, multidisciplinary care; and have a desire to build a robust practice in collaboration with our neurosurgical team. Individuals at any level of career will be considered including the assistant, associate, and senior member levels.

Within Moffitt Cancer Center, The Department of Head & Neck-Endocrine Oncology is uniquely situated as a multidisciplinary, collaborative program that provides high quality care to head and neck and thyroid/parathyroid patients. Our department has over $4 million of internal and external funding and see approx. 4,000 unique patients per year. We are committed to education and work closely with the Otolaryngology residency program at the University of South Florida, with 3 residents typically on site per rotation. We also have one AHNS Advanced Training Council accredited fellowship positions per year, with an excellent track record of graduates pursuing both academic and private practice head and neck careers.
The applicant will practice medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Responsibilities include providing patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serving as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. The surgeon will respond to consults and develop treatment plans, which may include urgent/emergent surgery.

Requirements
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Florida license eligible
- Sinonasal endoscopic surgery experience
- Completed Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology or Rhinology/Endoscopic Skull Base Fellowship
- Board certified/ eligible in Otolaryngology
- ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
- DEA License
