Data Entry Clerk Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate data for equipment, materials, job numbers, and pricing in company systems.
- Audit data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness, correcting errors as needed.
- Validate information against job numbers, pricebooks, and vendor invoices.
- Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between job records and material usage.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on data accuracy, usage trends, and audit findings.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in standardizing data entry and auditing processes for consistency across departments.
- Support special projects requiring data cleanup or system migrations.
Data Entry Clerk Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of data entry, administrative, or auditing experience (preferably in construction, field services, or materials management).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems.
- Ability to work with numerical data, cross-check against source documents, and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Data Entry Clerk Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jonas, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with pricebooks, job costing, or materials/equipment management.
- Previous experience in residential services, construction, or related industries.
