Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in environmental health and safety, physical sciences, or other relevant programs, with at least 2 years of relevant safety/environmental experience in the heavy civil construction industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to perform various mathematical activities, read and interpret regulations, plans, and construction drawings, and adapt to changing variables.
- 30-hour OSHA (Construction) card or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to demonstrate skills in Composure and Conflict Resolution
- Demonstrate abilities in Team Building with a willingness to collaborate and adapt
