What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at H.I.S. Comp LLC?
Local Company looking for a warehouse associate to help around the warehouse and local deliveries.
Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay based on experience.
Purpose to carry out general warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager. To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety procedures. To work as part of the Warehouse Team.
Duties
- Prepare orders of equipment for job sites, which includes picking of stock.
- Load and unload trucks and cranes.
- Be responsible for the safekeeping of company vehicles and property.
- Carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures.
- Be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.
- Brief and assist Crew Management Leaders if required.
- Be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.
- Be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities.
- Assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Warehouse Manager.
- Drop off and pick up material & equipment to a job site.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather if needed.
- Be flexible and willing to learn different positions in the company.
- Computer literate
- Must have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license. A Class A or B license is preferable.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Will be required to operate forklift. 18
