Your role within the team
Under the direction of the Manager of Order Fulfillment this position is responsible for supporting the order placement and fulfillment activities required for multiple CPG brands sold in the US and Canada, primarily in pet food and supplements. This includes order entry, open order tracking, communicating with team members, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and leading vendor compliance programs for retail and eComm customers. This role works closely internal stakeholders such as sales and logistics, as well as our customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Domestic and international sales order entry/creation, changes/modification, logging and updates.
- Customer Purchase order coordination with customers and internal sales team.
- Customer/Vendor compliance program logging and disputing.
- Daily coordination with the warehouse and logistics team.
- Operations process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate on new sales opportunities and order fulfillment solutions.
- Assist in developing and then owning a new customer compliance program.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, no mandatory discipline.
- Walmart or other retail order fulfilment and coordination experience a plus
- Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Netsuite ERP experience a plus.
- People oriented nature resulting in a drive to help others; resulting in strong customer service and responsiveness.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to tailor a message for the recipient.
- Strong dedication to the job, ownership of role and team performance.
- Strong attention to detail with good follow through to ensure job completion and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills, ability and willingness to help solve complex supply scenarios.
- Ability to schedule, plan and lead weekly meetings to keep internal stakeholders aligned.
- Ability to work within a team, cross training and backing up team members on work outside of the defined role.
Local team members are required to be in our Orlando office (located near UCF) 3 days/ week. Non local team members may be required to travel up to 15%
