What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor position at H & F Tire Service?
Responsibilities:
- Development and retention of teammates
- Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level
- Serving all automotive service needs of customers
- Assist store manager with all responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with quality standards
- Setting, confirming and preparing for appointments to expedite the customer's service experience
- Determining vehicle needs based on customer information, a vehicle walk-around and technician's multi-point inspection
- Producing repair orders for customers with full transparency including cost and time estimates
- Communicating frequently with Technicians and Parts Associates to ensure timely completion of work
- Gaining superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automobiles / tires / parts
- Valid Drivers License
- Computer and Technology Skills (Including Tablets)
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Good organization, time management and communication skills
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- High Level of Motivation and Energy
- Automobile Service Consultant Certification a plus
